Eco-modulation, bonus and malus
Why the calculator uses core rates only, and where modulation still matters.
Eco-modulation adjusts the base fee up (malus) or down (bonus) for recyclability, recycled content, reuse or sorting performance. France’s household packaging grid is the clearest public example.
Our price calculator multiplies core material rates by weight only. It deliberately excludes bonus/malus, composites priced outside the six cores, and negotiated scheme discounts.
