Germany does not publish a statutory packaging fee per kilogram. Under VerpackG you register as a producer in LUCID (ZSVR), then licence sales packaging with one of the competing dual systems.

Each dual system prices through its own online calculator or contract. Public entry prices (for example from €39/year on Lizenzero, or a €79/year minimum at PreZero) are not material tariffs — the €/kg rates stay behind the calculator.

Do not treat any single dual system as “the German rate”. For estimates, run two or three calculators with the same material mix, or ask your licensed scheme for a quote. Our Germany country page lists authorised systems and the published annual minima we can cite from primary sites.
